Ostara is the celebration of the SPRING EQUINOX. 

The promise that winter will soon be over and the warmth will return. 

It is in this time that our ancestors would prepare their tools for the spring planting, bless the seeds and begin getting ready for the next growing season - the return of the fertility of mother earth.
