With Raks Sharqi we will explore the rhythms and movements of the Middle East and North Africa. Each class will begin with learning basic movements and proper body mechanic. As the weeks progress and you feel more confident with your skills you will learn to combine and layer these movements and add choreography. As you gain more skill and yet more confidence you will learn to express who you truly are through these movements.
