When God Was a Woman (Part I1) - Civilization of the Great Goddess

In this class we will take a close look at the civilizations of the great Goddess during the Neolithic. We will explore the civilizations of Old Europe including Minoan Crete, Malta, Britain and Eastern Europe and the civilizations of Catal Huyuk in Anatolia. Within each of these areas we will learn about the “original creation myth” and symbology of the Goddess before the great patriarchal reversal. These ancient Goddesses are the ancestors of the Sumerian, Celtic, Egyptian, Greek and Roman Goddesses that have survived in lore and ritual until today.
